Nairn Notebook Cover

Providing protection and style to your preferred notebook. This cover is constructed of a firm Italian cowhide leather exterior to provide rigidity, and lined with a French goatskin for a touch of elegance. The edge of the case is painted for additional durability.

To keep your favourite pen close at hand, the holder is also constructed of the  constructed of the same Italian cowhide/French goatskin combination as the main body of the cover.   

This cover is sized around the 176 page Midori MD A5 sized notebook, (which is included with the cover), but will fit other A5 sized notebooks, depending on thickness and cover dimensions. Midori MD paper is high-quality and Japanese-made. The appeal of this paper is that it enhances the writing experience and refines the writing feel of putting pen to paper. MD paper is manufactured to perfection and is designed for comfortable writing especially with fountain pens and ink. It has a soft texture, appealing cream colour and weight and is resistant to bleeding and smearing. Crafted using traditional Japanese threaded binding, the notebooks are durable and lay out flat for easy writing. The string attached to the spine can be used as page marker and adds a tasteful accent visible between the pages.

The sample in the photos above is crafted with Camel Buttero, Camel goatskin, dark brown edge paint and tobacco coloured Vinymo.

This item takes approximately 4.5 hours to build.
