Description

Providing protection and style to your valuable glasses. This case is constructed of a firm Italian leather exterior to provide rigidity, and lined with a French goatskin so your lenses aren’t marked. The edge of the case is painted for additional durability.

The snaps are solid brass and the outer snap is fully lined in goatskin, with goatskin also placed on the inside of the interior snap assembly. 

While not visible in the photos, there is an interior nose bridge for the glasses to rest on from the same exterior/interior leather combination. This further protects the glasses and provides additional structure and rigidity to the case.

The sample in the photos above is crafted with Navy Buttero, Navy goatskin, navy edge paint and a light blue Fil au Chinois linen thread that was custom ordered.

This item takes approximately 4.5 hours to build.

The case is sized for a standard pair of glass or sunglasses. The interior opening of the glasses case is 15 cm long, a height of 7 cm and a depth of 4 cm. Some wraparound style glasses may have a greater depth, requiring an adjustment. If your glasses are thicker than this with the arms folded, please let us know in the order form and we can adjust the size of the glasses case.

Try to wipe any moisture off the Buttero leather as to reduce the possibility of staining. Additional care and storage details can be found HERE
